Last updated

This Privacy Policy explains how ZTech ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit ztech.agency (the "Website") or work with us. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and we respect the rights given to visitors from other regions, including the EU and UK GDPR.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you send an inquiry, book a call or email us, we collect what you choose to share, typically:

  • Your name and email address
  • Company or brand name
  • The service you are interested in, your budget range and timeline
  • Your message and any files or details you include
  • Your phone number, if you share it

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of the request) to keep the Website secure and working. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your inquiry and discuss your project
  • To prepare proposals, contracts and invoices
  • To deliver, support and improve the services you engage us for
  • To keep the Website secure and prevent spam or abuse
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

We process your information with your consent (for example when you submit the contact form), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in running and securing our business.

Sharing your information

We share personal information only where needed, with:

  • Service providers who host the Website, deliver email and store files for us, under confidentiality obligations
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary
  • Authorities, when the law requires it

Some providers may store data outside India. Where that happens we rely on providers with appropriate safeguards in place.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct or update inaccurate data
  • Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity

To make a request, email us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local data protection authority.
