FAQs

Visual Identity questions answered.

What is included in a visual identity project?

A visual identity covers the logo and its variations, colour palette, typography system, graphic elements, image and art direction, and brand guidelines. We also create digital assets such as social templates, so the identity works consistently across your website and channels.

What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is a single mark. A brand identity is the complete visual language around it: colour, typography, imagery, layout and tone that people recognise across every touchpoint. A logo alone rarely stays consistent as a business grows, which is why we build the full system.

How long does a branding project take?

Most identity projects run through discovery, definition, design and refinement phases, so timing depends on how many rounds of feedback and how many applications are needed. We agree a phase-by-phase schedule at the start and keep to it.

Do you create brand guidelines?

Yes. Brand guidelines document how to use the logo, colours, typography and imagery, with clear dos and don'ts, so your team and partners apply the brand consistently without needing us for every asset.

Can you refresh an existing brand instead of starting over?

Yes. If your current brand has recognition worth keeping, we evolve it: modernising the logo, tightening the palette and typography, and extending it across digital use. We recommend a full rebuild only when the existing identity holds the business back.

Will I own the final files and rights?

You receive the final logo files in vector and web formats, plus the guidelines, and the rights to use them as agreed in the project contract. Specific licence terms for fonts or stock imagery are explained before purchase.
